Saturday, September 17th

Saturday we had a couple of parties to go to, and we knew we would be out of the house for Jackson's feedings. We decided to let Jackson have the rest of his meals from a spoon and pull his tube for the afternoon. It was a major success. He was very happy and ate really well. We feel like we are turning a corner with this feeding issue!!

At the first party, Jackson was playing on the floor with all the kids, we looked over and he was surrounded by 4 older girls who were all paying attention to Jackson...and he was in heaven. Such a little flirt!!

At the second party, we went swimming. Jackson had a blast splashing around - he is definitely comfortable in the water.

Friday September 16th

Today was the big day, Jackson officially crawled. Greg said it wasn't very far, but he did it. He was trying to get into his toy box-- just the motivation he needed. He also pulled himself from laying to sitting. We can't believe how fast he is growing up. Its hard to believe this is the same kid who was born 1.5lbs!

Thursday September 15th

Jackson was quite the handful today. Luckily Aunt Sarah and Great Grandma came by to play for a bit. His teeth are coming in and really bothering him, but now he is putting everything in his mouth...which is funny considering just a couple days ago we couldn't get him to chew on anything. As long as its Jackson's idea, he thinks its a great idea. Stubborn, hard headed kid - we have know idea where he gets it.

Wednesday, September 14th

Today was a long day. Jackson was in a bad mood because of his teeth. He kept rubbing his face and he pulled his tube off. Which left a red mark on his cheek. Pray that we survive teething!! and now the many faces of Jackson

Check out the tooth, mom.

Happy go lucky.

Here it comes. . .

Monday, September 12th

We have a tooth!!! It can't really be seen on a pic, but it is there. Jackson likes to run his tongue over it. He is eating like a champ now. It's amazing the progress he has made in just a month.

Sunday, September 11th

Today we had a relaxing day at home and then in the evening we went over to our friend's Ted and Ashley's house for dinner. Jackson had a fun time playing with their tiny dogs. Greg also let Jackson try his ice cream, and Jackson was a huge fan.

Friday September 9 and Saturday September 10th

We forgot to take pics of Jackson on Friday. He had an appointment with his speech therapist, occupational therapist and nutritionist. Everyone was very please with Jackson's progress. He is starting to really eat. His nutritionist told us to switch out one formula feeding for a puree feeding. He is actually eating a whole jar at a time now. He didn't gain weight over the last couple of weeks, which was ok, because he was a little heavy for his height. He is now in the 50% percentile for his weight/height ratio. (adjusted age of course).

On Saturday, Jen, Jody and Elle stopped by for a quick visit. Jackson was excited to meet his cousin Elle. They played well together, and Im sure there are many play dates to come.

In the afternoon we set up a splash mat that we found at a end of summer sale. Jackson had a good time splashing around. Its nice because it isn't very deep and Jackson could lay on his belly and wiggle in the water.
