More Water Fun

Jackson had his appointment with his Specialist, Miss Lindsay today, and  she was so impressed how much he is talking and moving about more.

After his appointment it was nap time, then we had a fun lunch of crescent dogs and fruit.

After lunch we headed outside for some fun in the sun, and Jackson had just as much fun today as yesterday.

I was able to get more pictures of him, he looks like a little surfer baby and is just too cute!

Splish Splash!

Its finally warm dare I say hot enough outside, that Jackson and I got to play with his splash pad!

 Julia set it up last night, and Jackson was soooo excited to get out there and play! He had a blast, splashing away!

Hopefully we can go back outside tomorrow for some more water fun!

The Many Faces of Jackson

As Jackson is growing more and more, so is his personality.  I was able to capture quite a few of his facial expressions today, and they were too funny. Also, all these expressions took place in a matter of less than five minutes, pretty amusing.

Here he is happy as a clam, walking toward me to grab the camera.

I said no, no, and he plopped down and proceeded to "fake cry", no tears folks

After fake crying for about 2 seconds he stopped, looked up at me, got his second wind and decided to try to go for the camera again, making this face

I then repeated, "No, No Jackson, here play with this", and handed him his play cell phone.

Followed by, an "I'm not amused" look

And then a pout

So I handed him the lens cap, and all good was restored in his world

"that fit worked, what else can I do to get what I want?"

(insert villainous laugh here)

He's a stinker, but I love him to bits!

It's a Warm Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday All!

Hope you are having a wonderful middle of the week, Jackson sure is! We have had a fun day of laughs and sillies and he even got to enjoy some outside play (that is, until it got too hot!) But he sure loves his swing outside, and as soon as he gets a little bigger he will be able to enjoy his slide he has out back too!

I haven't posted any new recipes lately, because it seems Jackson is a fan of just about everything, so there hasn't been much need for creativity, but I hope to come up with some more fun snacks for him, so stay tuned.

 His new favorite thing is peanut butter, and I am so thankful he's not allergic (because I love peanut butter lol).  Apart from regular jams and jellies, I bought some Musselmans apple butter, which is something I grew up on as a child, and he LOVES it.  So that has been a new addition to his lunchtime routine, along with all his other favorites.  We also discovered that he loves fresh veggies like green beans and snap peas, so Julia has been purchasing the steamer bags at the grocery store, and this is such a handy way to have healthy raw veggies available for him.

New Clothes!

Mommy and Daddy bought me new clothes this weekend to update my summer wardrobe, and I am stylin'. Check out one of my new outfits!

Easter and Blue Bonnets

Oh I have been terrible about updating the blog, my apologies! So Jackson spent Easter in Dallas with his parents, visiting Greg's family, and had a great time.

Julia was able to get some great  pictures of him in the blue bonnets, and they are so adorable.

Happy Good Friday! Jackson had a great morning with his Mommy and Great Grandma.  He loves playing with the instruments and dancing, and is a fan of the guitar!

After music class they went out to lunch and then it was straight home to pack for their trip to Dallas, for Easter.
