Sunday, January 9th

FINALLY!!!  The last tube is gone.  Jackson's gavage tube was removed this morning.  This was the last medical item that was still in Jackson.  Other than monitoring lead stickers, he is completely unfettered.  Another big change was that they stopped giving him the Aminofilin, which was the last medication he was prescribed.  And yet another relatively big change is that he is no longer given an exact amount or time that he has to eat.  He is now allowed to eat "as needed", within minimum guidelines.  All of these are huge steps to him coming home.  Every day it seems more and more likely that he will be home sooner than later.

Tube Free!!!
