Well today was the bottle feeding experiment. It went ok. Jackson showed signs of being able to suck and swallow, but he kept holding his breath instead of breathing while eating. They will work with him over the next couple of days to try and help him develop the suck, swallow, breathe rhythm. So we will see how he develops over the next week. Other than that it was just another day at the NICU.

Don't get discouraged by this slow process - we were told that it's one of the most difficult things they have to learn to do, and it took my late-term preemie a week and a half to master it.
